The One Step LH Ovulation Tests are qualitative immunoassays for detecting elevated levels of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in urine.

The procedure is fast and results are easy to interpret.  If the test band appears and is darker than the control band, then ovulation will probably  occur in the next 24-48 hours.  If the test band does not appear or is lighter than the control band, no LH surge has been detected. 

Interpreting Results: Ovulation Test

Positive - LH surge: A distinct color band will appear in the control and test band regions.  The test band will be as dark or darker to the control band.  A positive result indicates that ovulation is likely to occur within the next 24 to 48 hours.  Thus, this is the best time to try and become pregnant

Negative - No LH surge: Only one colored band appears in the control region, or a band appears in both regions but the band in the test region is lighter.

Note: If two lines appear, the test band must be as dark or darker than the control band to indicate positive results.
